Work in progress

I am always planning projects in my head or on Pinterest, and so often if it is for the house or for me, it gets put on the back burner because work and family come first. My house hasn’t had a door number on it since our walls were repainted a couple of years... read more

School’s out for Summer!

Well, I launch the site, and then disappear!  I have been really busy making teacher’s gifts for the end of term, which has really made me happy.  It shows me how far I have come since last year, when I had a handful of orders.  This year, I concentrated on a... read more

Making presents for Father’s Day.

As lovely as it is to be quite well known amongst friends and family as being the one who can ‘make stuff’, it does sometimes make me feel duty bound to always give homemade presents, and to feel a little guilty if I can’t find the time.... read more

Welcome to Lilymoomoo Designs!

Hi! I am Naomi, mummy to Lily, 7 and Megan, 4, step mum to teenagers Alfie and Charlie, wife to my lovely husband, David and owner of a needy dog called Frankie, and an aloof cat called Charlie.

I have been running a small business called Lilymoomoo Designs for the last few years from home selling bespoke handmade gifts.    With a packed home life, and a house which was completely gutted before we moved in and which is still unfinished, the business has always been erratic and is often pushed to one side.

Join me as I try to expand the business to include painting children’s murals, build my online shop and show you the projects I am working on in the house. I’ll also add tutorials for how to make quick and easy crafts with young children and of course I will be adding new products to the shop all the time.
